EcoPlanet Bamboo wins IAIR Award for Sustainability

“EcoPlanet is a true example of conscious capitalism”. This is the official motivation that lead the American based company, EcoPlanet Bamboo Group to victory of the IAIR SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS 2013.
The International Alternative Investment Review (IAIR) Awards is ranked as one of the worlds leading awards for excellence in global economy and sustainability. The Awards are given based on ten criteria: sustainability; business results; leadership; green initiatives; strategic development; quality of service; innovation; and education. It uses a corporate environmental performance methodology based on data from publicly available sources such as Corporate Social Responsibility Reports, Carbon Disclosure Project Responses, and 10-k filings.
At the ceremony on 4th October in Milan at the Italian Stock Exchange with 400 people and more than 50 companies in attendance, EcoPlanet Bamboo Group was awarded Best Company for Sustainability, for “... its leadership as a global developer of commercial bamboo plantations, always following sustainable environmental and social development. Reducing emissions from deforestation and creating job for third-world communities, it has been able to reach important financial rewards, becoming a true example of conscious capitalism”.
The award was accepted by EcoPlanet Bamboo CEO & Co-Founder, Troy Wiseman, on behalf of the company.< Back to news < Download article
