EcoPlanet Bamboo's plantation operations are located in remote and challenging areas in Nicaragua, South Africa and Ghana. Management of large numbers of employees represents a major challenge and EcoPlanet Bamboo invests heavily into the development of training and skills transfer, as well as continually updating the company's technology systems.

In Nicaragua EcoPlanet Bamboo has been experimenting with a technology application called Working Day Suite, produced by the Internalia Group, for the past 18 months. This technology has a wide range of benefits for our bamboo plantation operations, and allows us to not only keep track of the tasks accomplished by our employees in the field, but also manage data collection between the field, plantation and central offices in a smooth manner.

Internalia Group recently published a series of articles and a short video on our use of their technology.
