On Wednesday November 25th the Nicaraguan National Congress hosted a day long conference in preparation for the country's delegation heading to the climate change negotiations in Paris. Troy Wiseman EcoPlanet Bamboo CEO & Co-Founder was invited to speak at this event. 

EcoPlanet Bamboo's more than $30 million investment and the associated certified bamboo planations on Nicaragua's Atlantic Coast are being showcased as Nicaragua's first successful example of forest & landscape restoration, as part of the country's commitment to Initiative 20x20. Under this initiative, Nicaragua has made a commitment to restore 2.7 million hectares of degraded land by 2020. EcoPlanet Bamboo has been asked by the highest levels of government to assist in reaching this goal.
